Holding tank for Storm

Post by balticbound » Mon Jan 28, 2013 6:23 pm

Does anyone have any experience of installing a holding tank on a Storm? Where located, what size and material? Any advice much appreciated.

I've concluded it's not a good idea. It would have to be on the starboard side making the slight list worse....

Good point Petrel. I put all the heavy 'stuff' I can to port for this very reason. But where I'm going in the Baltic I don't think I have much choice!

As an aside, I know of several people who have got around the need for a holding tank by keeping a camping loo onboard (not necessarily using it). This seems to have satisfied the authorities.
Just a thought ....
