Griffon MK1 depth transducer

I am currently rewiring a MK1 Griffon; the depth transducer appears to have been removed, where would it have been fitted originally?

Brightstar’s depth sounder is under the forward bunk port side, in the same space as the heads sink overboard cock. The wiring runs down through the saloon Starboard lockers, into the heads space, across the space before passing through the bulkhead into the forward locker.

Mine is internal
