Anenometer

Post by daveholl »

Had excellent service from NASA electronics when anemometer went feet up. The cups spin on the spindle and a small magnet is implanted . A Hall effect transistor picks this up and the electronics does the rest. My pick up transistor had a leg eaten away . Took the whole lot to the Nasa place at Stevenage and 30mins later all fixed with new cups . £25 bargain . For info the pick up hall effect transistor is a 02K 1142 Farnell do them for about 80P.
