Hi
I've just joined the forum as considering buying a Centaur for the coming season and wanted to know if there's a Westerly meeting along the North Wales coast?

Welcome to the WOA Forum.

There are plenty of Centaur owners here who will be able to advise on anything you may need to ask.

The list of North Wales WOA events is here.

I would recommend you join the Westerly Owners Association as this gives you access to even more technical information on the web site and you get 2 interesting magazines a year. There are discounts from some suppliers to WOA member and the WOA Group insurance is worth considering.

Hope your search goes well and you find a good boat at a nice price. Do not assume the cheapest is best, but look for the one in best condition as this will work out cheaper in the long run. Have you checked out what is for sale on the WOA web site as they are usually in better condition than the general market. Currently there are 7 listed. https://www.westerly-owners.co.uk/classifieds.php

Hi, I am officially a new member. My name is Timothy, but I am emailing you from my cabin in Alaska. I have had two keel boats, a Columbia and a Newport. In is a very long story, but ... I am getting me a Westerly, oh, a Westerly "Golden Fleece," a Westerly Chieftain. I know, I know, - I might as well look for gold in Alaska! My name is Timothy, and I will gladly help out where I can though for now remotely. Thank you, thank you very much.
