Does anyone know where the anchor locker drains to on a Griffon. There doesn't appear to be any overboard drainage arrangements and water must find its way in and I am curious as to how it is got out again.
many thanks

Probably into the bilge. There will be a hole in the bottom of the chain locker. God only knows why Westerly did that but then only they know why they did some of the other crazy things they did.

You can't say that Westerly got it wrong, they are the best at everything, and the boats are the best ever without exception.
Take ten Hail Marys and wash your mouth out with soap.
My Centaur anchor locker drains into the bilge, but it's too low to do anything else. I try to leave my chain on deck until it's dry before sending it below to the locker underneath my bed to fester.

Bob, the pleasing smell og good thick mud in the cabin is something never yo be forgotten as I know you eill be well aware of:-( as far as Westerlys build qualities my mouth is unfortunately used to the taste of soap... Still it would not stop me buying another one.

Thanks for this, it sounds like a good idea to leave muddy chain on the deck if possible until it can be washed off
