Westerley Berwick ketch cockpit teak slat seating

Hi my 1978 teak slat seating in the cockpit needs some refurbishment - Ive finally managed to remove on section which was bolted onto the locker and firmly glued/ sealant

Once I’ve cleaned and repaired what’s the correct method to fasten it back on - glue / sealant means a lot of more hard work getting it off again in future or can you just bolt on with a foam underlay ?

Butyl tape would me my 1st choice or Arbomast BR if you want it in a tube. It never really sets so is easy to remove.
