I got my first quote for a new Beta 20 (and all the associated bits - prop, shaft, cutlass, new exhaust, control cables etc etc). £5k covers the parts, but not labour...

Intestingly they are recommending a 13 x 9 three blade prop. Less pitch than yours chrisbarton (for same size engine and approx hull size).

I fitted the recommended 13x9 prop.

I also have the same tiller wandering when motoring above 2k rpm but it’s not strong unless it’s hard over.
Tp10 holds a course for hours without issue.
Safety factor of 3 please.

I fitted a Darglow Featherstream 14 x 8 Beta recommended a pitch of 8 and Darglow recommend a pitch of 9. I went with 8 at the time of Purchase. However after running the boat for a season i feel its a bit under-propped so i took advantage of Darglow's offer to re-pitch it to 9.
