Joining the Westerly family

Post by SolentSalty » Mon Sep 04, 2017 4:27 pm

Good afternoon, I can't wait, I'm new here and have put a deposit down on a Westerly Pageant, which I collect on the 12th September.

Apologies in advance for lots of questions, requests for information and help.

"Mimram" will be berthed in Gosport. She will be the first Westerly that I own, however I did my first channel crossing on "Wagtail II" a Konsort out of Lymington many many moons ago.

Already on the look out for a spray hood. Moving down from a boat share in a Moody 31, co ownership wasn't for me.

Welcome to Westerly Owners Association Forum.

You will find many other Westerly owners with yachts, large and small, in the Solent. If you have not joined the Westerly Owners Association, then I would prompt you to do this for £15 pa - which is a bargain with 2 useful magazines and a list of members, plus access to technical pages on the WOA web site. If you join now you will get he balance of this year and next for £15, plus the book on the Westerly Yachts. Join in with the local WOA rallies to meet other owners.

So until the 12th, KEEP CALM.

All the best on becoming a PBO (poor bl...dy owner!).
