Westerly corner at East Cowes last weekend

Post by colin smith » Wed Jun 10, 2015 7:23 pm

Stopped for a couple of nights at East Cowes marina last weekend and found myself surrounded by all sorts of Westerlys. Obviously pleasantries were exchanged, but as a relatively new owner, is this something I should come to expect? :D
If you were there, we were in the Konsort with cream coloured side decks and coachroof on A9. We did have an absolutely stunning Westery Griffon nearby, a real credit to her owners.

It is something you will see and expect. That is why being in the WOA and having the Yearbook is so useful - to find out who is on the next-door boat before talking to them.

No matter where you go, you will see a Westerly. I have seen Westerly's in New Zealand at Whangarei, and also in Nelsons harbour in the Caribbean.

Philip.
