Westerley Merlin

Post by Neil Jeffery » Fri May 29, 2015 5:48 pm

Hi
I'm new to this forum and looking to change our Nicholson 26 to a much more family friendly boat. I have in the past sailed a Merlin but a long time ago. Is there anyone in the Cornwall area that has one we could look over to remind me and to show my family before we start our search?

Neil

Welcome to the forum.

Someone should be along shortly who owns a Merlin. In the meantime some of the best photographs can be found here http://www.yachtsnet.co.uk/archives/wes ... merlin.htm.

Have you check out the WOA craft for sale at http://www.westerly-owners.co.uk/classifieds.php. For only a few thousand pounds extra you could also buy a Fulmar. There are several on the market at under £25,000.

Hi Phil and thank you Jolly Roger
We live near Summercourt and sail out of Percuil, so anywhere in Cornwall is accessible for us.
Regards
Neil
