Hi folks,

I've recently bought a new sailing yacht. She completely won my heart. However till now I don't know what is a type of my yacht :(
The seller was sure that this is a Bellona 23 (made in Sweden) but I disagree (I know how Bellona 23 looks like). She has other hull and cockpit only interior is quite similar.
On CF they told me that she is probably a Westerly GK24 with modified stern and interior but I'm not sure.
Could you tell me if I'm a Westerly owner? :) If not maybe someone recognise any other type of yacht?

She stay in ElblÄ…g in Poland

Hi,
Welcome, I have never owned a GK 24 but looking at the pictures I would say she is not a GK24 - the lines are not the same. However a GK24 owner may prove me wrong!!

She is definitely not a GK24 as she does not have a transom hung rudder.

You would be best to ask on another general yachting forum like YBW.com http://www.ybw.com/forums/forumdisplay. ... -to-Reader to get a better answer.

Have to admit she is quite a pretty boat from probably the late 70's or early 80's as the hull shape of wide beam taken quite far back and a pinched in stern, plus she some tumblehome (beam is wider than the height at the toe rail) and she has a small skeg.

Hope you get many years of happy sailing.
