Philip Stevens hanging up the anchor

Post by Jolly Roger » Thu Feb 26, 2015 3:37 pm

Looking at the WOA craft for sale list I see Philip Stevens, our Moderator, has his Konsort Duo up for sale as he is retiring from sailing due to health reasons. His web page for his boat should be viewed as it looks in immaculte condition. http://www.westerlykonsortduo.uk/

May I wish him a swift sale and a good retirement, hopefully for many years to come.

Just wanted to add my thanks for all past efforts re web-site etc, and add the hope that Philip can still get afloat as a guest whenever it suits. He could not be better placed for contacts, and should need to ask !
best regards
Nick

Thanks to all for your comments.

"Oyster" has now been sold to a new member, and the boat will be going to the Bristol Channel/Severn River area in the next month.

I hope he enjoys Oyster as much as we did. In fact, I am sure he will.

I will have one last sail on her, on the way around Lands End to Saint Ives, where he will pick up a colleague for the trip up the coast.

I will still be here for as long as I am able, to moderate the Forum.
regards,
Philip.

Congratulations on selling Oyster and getting a new member.

I hope you will enjoy your retirement from sailing and glad you will still be involved with the forum. We cannot loose all of your extensive knowledge just because you stop sailing.
