Duker Blue

Post by chapman » Sun Jan 25, 2015 9:07 am

A few late built Westerly's were finished in a dark blue gelcoat called "Duker Blue". Has anybody any colour code for this , or information about best match- I am hoping to make some minor repairs to my Fulmar this winter.

Welcome to the Forum.

Sorry I cannot help with the colour code as my Fulmar is the regular white. I would suggest contacting Trafalgar Yacht Services as they worked for Westerly's and have a font on important information. http://www.westerly-yachts.co.uk/

In reply to my own question - I have sourced Oxford Blue pigment from www.cfsnet.co.uk . It is very close indeed to Duker Blue , and will certainly be fine for small areas/ scratches etc.
