To follow up...we drilled off head of bolt running through strake as it has fused to alloy...so no need to remove strake..then listed off stemhead after undoing six bolts to deck..replacing with a new bow roller...but further issues there as the double roller I bought bizarrely appears to have been...

Centaur kicker (conversion)

I have recently purchased a Centaur that has the original mast and boom. There is no kicker (or claw) with her at the moment. The main is cut for slab reefing. With time I may look to put a ZSpars boom on, with the sprung kicker pole also. For now though, a rope option would be better than nothing! ...

Hi, was your inadequate one from Trafalgar? I need to replace mine too, or at least get re-welded. I was looking at the Trafalgar part, but without seeing it, don't know the quality.

Separately, how easy is it to change the fitting on the Centaur? Is it a b&@ta&d to get off..??
