Re: I guess the new platform has trouble with Firefox 52.0

Regret that the upgrade seems to have caused many issues, of which this is one. My guess is that there will be another upgrade issued to fix these; I'll keep an eye on the support forums.

Re: Board updated

Once again, we have to report that the upgrade to the latest version has changed some things, and once again removed the logo. We will work to get this back soon, but you should be able to find most things in the same place with the exception of the Rules, which now only appear in the top line (see ...

Re: What happened to the uploaded pictures?

Hi Wolfgang. Looks like some fallout from when our previous host destroyed our website in early 2016. We had a backup of the Forum, but the photo's are stored elsewhere, and although I have searched other backups, it seems that this is one thing that was not recovered. I'll keep looking, but I regre...

Re: What's happened to our locations?

Hi - there was a switch which was disabled when we updated the Forum a week or so back. It is now back in place.

Plus i've never seen a Corsair with 6" high bulwarks. :(

I too am suspicious. Looking at the photo's, it is not a Corsair, and the beam of 10ft is another giveaway.

This is a phenomenon known as "dimples", and has been noted before. See:

Re: Board updated

Pleased to advise that the main heading is now showing to the WOA logo. Clicking on that logo will take you to the main WOA site. In addition, the "Main WOA Website" link will also take you to the main WOA website homepage. If your intention is to go to the "home" page of this Bulletin Board ("Forum...

Re: Board updated

We regret that Tapatalk is currently not available due to an installation error with the new versions of both phpBB and Tapatalk. This is also impacting on the logo issue. We are working on the problem and will report back when the problem is solved.

Re: Board updated

Yes, there is, and we had this before. I will get it back, but at the moment, Tapatalk has fouled the system I want to use to enable the function, so it is work-in-progress. I'll post here when finished - but you'll know it is working as the WOA logo will appear where it always used to, top left.

Board updated

To all users; we have today upgraded the WOA Bulletin Board ("Forum") to the latest version of the package it runs on - phpBB3. The most obvious change is a new look and feel - a bit smarter, but you may have to dig around a bit to find what you want. Hopefully this won't cause you too many issues, ...

Re: sail repairs and servicing

Hi Chris

Have a look on the website for Sea Teach or Arun Sails. Both offer members a discount, though whether they will do so on repairs, I'm not sure.

Arun Sails in particular have been associated with Westerly yachts for many years, and have been strong supporters of WOA.
