Re: scum in primary filter bowl

There was no water in the bowl just diesel and the froth and air above it. The engine was happy enough to run but I wasn't running it under any load.

It's all cleaned out now so will just have to see if it recoccurs I guess.

scum in primary filter bowl

On my Fulmar I used International Interdek. Very pleased with the non-slip and adhesion.
How long's it been down Roger?

Deckpaint: Kiwigrip

I suppose it's in the nature of things to be disappointed by the longevity of deckpaint but I really thought Kiwigrip, being so expensive, would last a little longer than 4 years before flaking off. I did a really good job of prepping the deck took everything back to fibreglass and degreased before ...

Re: Buhk Exhaust Elbow

Someone else on PBO has recommended Nero SS http://www.nero.co.uk/Catalogue/150LB-B ... d-Fittings

where you can get the parts to make up one of these:

Re: Buhk Exhaust Elbow

Neil on PBO said: "Yes - I have a home made exhaust elbow on my DV20. Constructed more or less as you show, except I have a 45 deg bend for the cooling water inlet. This gives a better angle for the pipework from the anti-syphon valve. I am on my second in 13 years - although the first was still OK ...
