Well just tipped it out keeping engine the right way up. Seems to be ok. Put in new premium unleaded and it is running well in my garage.

Getting my dinghy and outboard sorted I hope for summer cruise. Dealer advises new fuel so have to empty old fuel. These engines have to be kept one way up so what is best way to empty fuel tank?

When you take your old one apart you should be able to find it if you look carefully. I wonder if it is a spare for the drain nut end?

WOA have a Boatline advice scheme for members (owners or potential members). Annual sub is only £15 and a Nimrod owner is listed.

WOA get 5% and the 10% is additional; so sounds also like 15% at the moment

Clean them up thoroughly and then use International Woodskin. Easy to apply and long lasting...looks better thsn old grey weathered teak.
