Re: Centaur "TYRO" back in action
Glad to hear you got some sail time Steve and sorry to hear about your back! I've been having a ball on mine, slightly poignantly as in a moment of life turning round to kick me in the ass I got the news last week that I need an operation and I'm basically going to be laid out for the next four mont...

Re: Konsort anchor warps
Hi Steve, congrats on the sail! Hope it all went well? I'm moving to poole next Friday, so going to experience the inshore passage at St Aldhelms head for the first time. Should be entertaining, Yes, sorry incorrect terminology, I mean the strop length. I'm back at the boat so have measured up. I'm ...

Konsort anchor warps
Morning all, I was on the boat at the weekend getting everything ready to move my Konsort move to the swing mooring next week and have realised that although I have worked out what I need to make my anchor warps, I made the amateur mistake and forgot to measure up so don't know what actual length of...

Re: Fitting New Eberspacher Heater in Korsort
I can say from experience over the last couple of days trying to work out what's wrong with my eberspacher, do not install your heater unit on the far side of the engine bay from the lazarette.

Re: I've lost my bilge pump......
My electric bilge pump is in the engine bay on the port side half way up the engine bay height and sucks filth via a green pipe from below the engine thence through the pump which is an oscillating diaphragm type and then out of transom. Makes a hell of a racket but seems to be quite efficient at p...

Re: I've lost my bilge pump......
Hi Steve Yes bought her last week, fingers crossed I'll have her in the water in a couple of weeks for some sailing! How's it going on Tyro? That's a fair point about one actually being fitted at all, think I'll count up all the through hulls and see if there's one unidentified, then make further in...

I've lost my bilge pump......
So, first day on the boat today pulled every thing out and had a good rummage around and have lost my bilge pump...... This is on a Konsort, and the manual pump is under the floor just in front of the tool box, but can't for the life of me find the electric one. The only place I haven't looked is un...

A leaking forecabin
Hi all, Im looking at a Konsort (no longer a Centaur as my user name suggests....) to purchase. Its a great boat but I have discovered that there is a leak...... the first sign of water is staining at the joint between the forecabin bulkhead and the cabin roof on the portside. The water runs down be...

A favour from a Centaur owner.....
Hi all, hope you've all had a good new year. This is my first post, so thought I'd start off with a cheeky request for a favour...... Being a time for resolutions and all that, I'm now in the market and looking to buy a boat. I have done a load of research here and other places and have decided that...
