Like the graphics very much. Definitely something like that but in stainless and wood. Cardiff marina group have recently taken over the Aberystwyth marina and they may have some helpful contacts. I'll try them as we have few facilities around here.

Thanks the idea would be to have a cut out in the plarform for the arc of the rudder but still carry on the steel structure just beyond the rudder to create protection and to provide a potential anchorage point for an inflatable. I think I will make a mock up out of wood so that I can get the dimens...

Swimming platform

We have a konsort circa 1980 and I have a yen for a bathing platform. Clearly not a simple thing with a transom hung rudder. Has anyone any experience of such a beast? Any comments, drawings or suggestions of anyone who would construct one would be gratefully received.
