Hi,you will probably find it is rainwater building up on the cockpit seats and then finding its way into the aft locker,from there it will find its way into the engine bay via the exhaust pipe access hole ! I have used tank tape to seal the hatch this year and will remove the residue left by the tap...

Hi a good wax will slow it down but i find that oxalic acid is far cheaper than y10 which if you look at the tin is the main ingredient of Y10 is oxalic acid.

Hi , the MD11C was an eleven c ! and if you can find a beta marine 20hp it will reward you well,as an old 25hp by now will be developing a damb sight less than 25hp!

it may well be worth trying the decompression levers ,raise to start in cold weather then close when engine has speeded up!

Hi i have the same engine in a centaur and get exactly the same effect ! in forward the prop will spin and rotate the shaft etc causing the rumble ,if you engage reverse it will vanish because the prop wont turn and wear out any bearings unnecessarily.It may slow you down a bit but hey its not a rac...

Hi,if you're looking for a centaur look for one that has been re-engined as even a late boat has a 35 year old engine that has been pumping salt water !

Hi,you could try cracking the injector nuts and bleeding them,if there is an air lock in the injector pipes that would stop her !
