Hi Replaced mine 2 seasons ago when i took the engine out, bought them from RK Marine in Bursledon, mine is a 1973 Centaur.

Centaur rudder clearance
Hi, I am going to drop my rudder this winter on the hard, does anybody know how high I have to put the boat on blocks to get the clearance required, thanks in advance.

Rudder shake on Centaur
I am getting a lot of Rudder shake on my Centaur under power, is this worn bushes and if so do I have to drop the rudder to effect repair, also what clearance would I need to do this?

I lifted my MD2B out in the winter using our sailing clubs derrick, might be worth looking at local sailing clubs and for a small fee, ours is £10.00 you can do it alongside a pontoon.

We have just had our Volvo MD2 reconditioned over the winter, took it out and injectors reconditioned new piston rings and rebuild kit. Back running but a lot of white smoke coming from the exhaust, wondering if this is due to diesel being burnt and if this is because the rings have to wear in or an...

Overheating on one cylinder head
I am getting overheating on one cylinder head on my MD2B engine which is in a Centaur it is the aft pot which gets extremely hot, I am thinking that it could be a coolant problem, the temp gauge reads normally!

Hi I used parafin to clean mine, seems to work, take the fuel tap out and clean that separately as mine was all gunged up!

I have just taken my fuel tank out of my centaur as the fuel was contaminated. My question is why, it seems that there must be some bug in the fuel.
