Hi, I am going to drop my rudder this winter on the hard, does anybody know how high I have to put the boat on blocks to get the clearance required, thanks in advance.

I am getting a lot of Rudder shake on my Centaur under power, is this worn bushes and if so do I have to drop the rudder to effect repair, also what clearance would I need to do this?

I lifted my MD2B out in the winter using our sailing clubs derrick, might be worth looking at local sailing clubs and for a small fee, ours is £10.00 you can do it alongside a pontoon.

We have just had our Volvo MD2 reconditioned over the winter, took it out and injectors reconditioned new piston rings and rebuild kit. I am getting overheating on one cylinder head on my MD2B engine which is in a Centaur it is the aft pot which gets extremely hot, I am thinking that it could be a coolant problem, the temp gauge reads normally!

Hi I used parafin to clean mine, seems to work, take the fuel tap out and clean that separately as mine was all gunged up!

I have just taken my fuel tank out of my centaur as the fuel was contaminated. My question is why, it seems that there must be some bug in the fuel.
